Perspective

On a cold, wet snowy January, I recalled driving my old Nissan to work, in the early hours of an already busy roadway. Freezing fingers, a somewhat hazy windshield with wipers that were past their prime, and an engine that was taking its time to warm up, added to my frustration. It was then that I noticed someone standing at a bus stop. Covered from head to toe, hands in the pockets, moving in place to stay warm, eyes keenly focused on the road, for the welcome sight of the bus….Suddenly my inconveniences seemed very trivial. The protection of the car even with all the other inefficiencies of its condition, was a much better place to be in.

Perspective in life…..makes for a better human!
